Using sustainable resources, protecting our watershed, and using non-toxic chemicals are three important ways to help the nature around us thrive.
All ingredients used in our natural wax candles are intentionally selected and sourced from U.S. environmentally friendly companies. Our wax melts are poured into recyclable PET clamshells or recycled Classic Collection glass cubes with the ceramic heron seal. All our candle vessels can be reused, and the glass can be recycled.
Labeling and packaging are intentionally kept to a minimum.

Shoreline Candles are tested extensively! We engage one person who tests every candle we make in addition to the significant testing that happens in-house. Our natural wax candles are tested for several important safety factors such as flame height, the temperature of the candle melt pool, the temperature of the glass, the amount of carbon build on the wick, soot, tunneling, etc. Of course, we test for good hot and cold throw (how your candle smells burning and not burning). Lots of notes and observations - our science teachers would be proud of us!
